The Short List No. 1


According to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA), wellness is more than your physical and mental health status.  One's wellness includes eight dimensions; one of which is intellectual wellness.  The University of California, Riverside defines intellectual wellness as, engaging the individual in creative and stimulating mental activities to expand their knowledge and skills and help them discover the potential for sharing their gifts with others.

As an avid reader and supporter for life-long learning, Monday's The Short List posts will be a mixture of suggested books, articles, podcasts, blog posts, and videos to support your intellectual wellness.  On to the content!
